Pent up Frustration

  • No Notes

How to use it:
“He said he felt better after he told me about his family problems, he had had a lot of pent up frustration before.”
“I just feel like I have all this pent up frustration building up inside of me.”

Lose Your Temper

  • Pent up anger
  • Let go of things: stop fighting, be flexible/easy-going
  • Blow up at someone: Get really angry with someone and show them your anger
  • Handle a situation: fix a problem
  • Stew : think quietly over and over
  • Get (become) short with people/ be short with people: to give unusually short answers very directly

How to use it:
“It was actually quite scary when he lost his temper.”
“I felt terrible, because I completely lost my temper in front of everyone in the room.”

Headstrong/Stubborn

  • Strong-minded: having strong opinions
  • Walk away: leave the discussion

How to use it:
“Don’t try to stop him, you know he’s too headstrong to change his mind.”
“She’s been stubborn since she was a baby, so I’m not surprised she’s the kind of woman to always get her way.”

Narrow minded/Close-minded

  • No Notes

How to use it:
“If he wasn’t so close-minded, we’d probably be pretty good friends.”
“I think of myself as a pretty open-minded person.”

IDGAF: I don’t give a F***

*foul language NSFW (not safe for work)

  • As a hashtag: #idgaf
  • Fleeting: momentary, not permanent
  • Over it: no longer interested in something, fed up
  • I don’t give 2 f***s
  • Laissez-faire: let it go, easy going
  • #idgas: I don’t give a sh**

How to use it:
“Do whatever you want, I literally couldn’t give a f***.”
“I really don’t give a f*** what you think about it.”
